Where to play Plain
The only place we send you to play is playplain.app. I checked the response headers on 2026-10-25. Framing is denied, so the picture on our home page is original art and a sample panel, not a live frame. Other domains that showed up in search the same week are not linked from here.
On 25 October the official sitemap included finished issue #7 (24 October). Guest play does not ask for an email. An account is optional.
On a computer
- Open playplain.app in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
- Press Play. Seven rounds, about three minutes.
- Leave the tab until you are done. The first accepted answer locks.
On a phone
The official FAQ says to use Add to Home Screen on iPhone, or Install app in Chrome on Android. The manifest we fetched advertises standalone display and portrait orientation. Steps for the home-screen Web App, and why the Play Store app called Plain is a different product, are on the app page.

Two searches that go to the wrong product
- Is there a Plain app? The top store result is PlainApp, a phone-to-browser tool. It is not this game.
- Does Plain have unlimited mode? The official pages we checked do not. Past days are recaps, not extra scored runs.

- Read the rules first if you have seven minutes, not three.
- Yesterday's recap after midnight in New York.
Questions this page answers
Is there a download?
No install file is published on playplain.app. You play in a browser. Phones can add the site to the home screen. It can open as a standalone Web App, not a native store download.
Can this site embed the game?
No. On 2026-10-25 the home page and the how-to-play page both returned X-Frame-Options: DENY and a CSP of frame-ancestors 'none'.
Is it free?
Yes. The FAQ says there is nothing to buy.
