Plain does not have an unlimited mode
No. On 2026-10-25 I searched the HTML of the official home page, how-to-play, FAQ, and archive hub. The word "unlimited" does not appear. The FAQ states that past puzzles cannot be replayed for a score. There is one shared puzzle per New York day.
I wanted a practice flight after I missed a band on paper, and the honest substitute is the archive: cover the answer, make a guess, then look. It will not move your altitude, your streak, or your XP. Treating it as a secret unlimited mode would be a lie about the rules.
What people are probably clicking
playplain.online was registered on 21 October 2026. Its about page describes an independent estimation game and says it is not operated by playplain.app. It offers an unlimited page. playplain.org, registered the same day, is a separate site again. plaingame.fun, registered 23 October 2026, calls itself an independent game. None of those is the official puzzle, and none of them is a download we recommend. If you want the comparable daily result, use playplain.app.
If you still want more rounds tonight
- Read a finished Plain day and score yourself on paper with the ratio formula.
- Play a different daily estimation game that publishes its own rules.
- Practice the band boundaries until the next midnight.

Questions this page answers
Can I replay yesterday?
You can read it. You cannot score it. The FAQ says past puzzles can't be replayed for a score, so each day's results stay comparable.
Why do other sites say unlimited?
A different domain registered on 21 October 2026 publishes an unlimited page and says it is an independent game. That is not playplain.app. We do not link it as a place to play.
